Feeding Guidelines

Use the scoop provided to measure the correct amount based on your dog's weight. Full guidelines are on the label and also at the bottom of this page.

Sprinkle the powder over your dog's usual meal, give it a quick mix, and serve. If feeding dry kibble, you may like to stir in a little water, broth or kefir to help the powder stick, so that nothing gets left behind in the bowl.

Seaweed: Has anti-microbial properties so keeps teeth free of plaque and freshens breath. Helps to reduce gingival irritation.

Calendula: Has anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties which help to prevent infection. Healing and helps with gingivitis. Anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory.

Thyme: Eliminates bacteria and is powerful in treating cavities and dental infections. Combats bad breath, plaque, and tooth decay.

Decaff Green Tea: reduces inflammation and helps to prevent gingivitis. Beneficial for periodontal disease.

Turmeric: has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, helps to keep teeth clean, gums healthy, and breath fresh. Aids healthy digestion.

Parsley: Rich in anti-oxidants, reduces swelling. Freshens breath.

Feeding Quanitites

Feeding quantities are based on your dog's body weight, as follows:

up to 5kg – half a scoop
5-10kg – half to 1 scoop
11-20kg - 1-2 scoops
21-30kg - 2 to 2 and a half scoops
31-40kg – 2 and a half to 3 scoops
41+kg – 3 and a half to 4 scoops

How long will a tub last?

A 325g tub will last approximately 95 days for a 10kg dog.

How do I choose the right bottle size?

Based on your dog’s size, we would recommend:

Toy breeds (up to 5kg)

100ml will last 40 days for a 5kg dog (2.5ml per day). 26p a day.

Small breeds (6-15kg)

250ml will last 33 days for a 15kg dog (7.5ml per day). 56p a day.
500ml will last 66 days for a 15kg dog (7.5ml per day). 45p a day.

Medium breeds (16-25kg)

500ml will last 40 days for a 25kg dog (12.5ml per day). 75p a day.
1L will last 80 days for a 25kg dog (12.5ml per day). 58p a day.

Large breeds (26-40kg)

500ml will last 25 days for a 40kg dog (20ml per day). 1.20 a day.
1L will last 50 days for a 40kg dog (20ml per day). 94p a day.

Giant Breeds (41kg +)

1L will last 40 days for a 50kg dog (25ml per day). 1.17 a day.

Storage

Shelf life - 12 months from date of manufacture.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
Use by the date shown on the tub.
Keep closed when not in use.

Plaque powder

Great product. Noticed a big difference in dogs breath particularly as she is elderly.
She also doesn’t refuse to eat it on her meals.

Plaque Patrol - Clean Teeth

I have been buying Plaque Patrol for the past year for my young Newfoundland. I genuinely notice a difference if we do not use it for a few days. His teeth are plaque free and he does not have dog breath which is quite something for a giant dog with lots of slobber. We buy the largest size which lasts a couple of months a few scoops a day really helps in addition with regular teeth cleaning. I mix in with food and have never had any issues with my boy refusing to eat his meal with it on. Good product and great value!

It wasn’t delivered to my house, & Royal Mail would only deal with the sender. However when I asked for help, I was told that if Royal Mail said it had been delivered there was nothing further that could be done. So now I am waiting to find out if the house it was delivered to 15 minutes away from my house, will let me go and collect it. So I have no product & am currently £70 down. I have used this product before & my dogs loved it which is why I ordered again. However I will have to find a similar product from someone else.

As explained, the parcel was delivered to which we have photographic evidence of this. I apologise that you are disappponted but we have fulfilled this order to the correct address as requested on your order. Royal Mail have confirmed this also. I do hope that you manage to find your order, the photograph shows where the delivery has taken place so that should be useful information.

Not sure this works also upsets my very sensitive Cocker Spaniels tummy

Proflax paque patrol

After using Proflax paque patrol for a couple of weeks, I am now happy to say a notice less plaque on my dogs teeth and it seems to come off easier. His breath is also improved. I can reccomend this product.
