Which Tub Size?

Which tub size is right for my dog?

Feeding quantities are based on your dog's body weight, as follows:

Up to 5kg - quarter of a scoop
6-10kg - half a scoop
11-25kg - 1 scoop
26-40kg - 1 and a half scoops
41kg+ - 2 scoops

How long will a tub last?

A 300g pot will last a 10kg dog 38 days.

Feeding Guidelines

For general wellbeing, feed every other day. For more targeted support, feed daily.

Measure using the provided scoop (weight-based dosage guidelines on label). Feed the recommended dose daily as part of your dog’s regular routine.
Sprinkle over dog's food and serve - If your dog eats dry food, add a splash of water, kefir, or goat’s milk before mixing in the powder — this helps it stick to the food so nothing gets left behind in the bowl.

Composition

Psyllium Husk: A natural source of soluble fibre that supports bowel regularity and gut health. Provides gentle prebiotic support and helps maintain natural cleansing within the digestive system.

Ground Linseed: A good source of soluble fibre, protein, and Omega-6. Traditionally used to support digestion, energy, and immune wellbeing. Contains lignans and natural nutrients that help maintain overall vitality.

Dandelion Root: A natural prebiotic traditionally used to support digestion, liver, and gallbladder health. Rich in fibre, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamins K, B, and C.

Marshmallow Root: A soothing herb traditionally used to support gut and digestive comfort. Contains mucilage, which helps maintain a healthy gut lining and overall intestinal balance.

Probiotic & Natural Clay (Bacillus velezensis): Supports a balanced digestive system and nutrient absorption. Helps maintain a healthy intestinal environment and normal stool consistency.

Sepiolite Clay: Naturally rich in minerals, traditionally used to support digestive health and balance. Helps maintain gut cleanliness and a healthy intestinal flora.

Suitability

Suitable for all dogs over 12 weeks of age. Not recommended for pregnant or nursing dogs. Do not use if your dog is known to be allergic or reactive to any of the listed ingredients.

If your dog is taking medication, or you have any concerns about using this product, please consult your vet for advice. Stop feeding 5 days prior to anaesthetic.

cases, it’s as simple as giving Proflax at a different time of day – which is the approach we usually suggest.

But it’s important to be cautious. Certain medications can affect things like blood pressure, the central nervous system, or internal organs – and your vet will know whether a particular supplement is suitable alongside them.

Veterinary professionals are best placed to understand any contra-indications
to the medications they prescribe, so we always advise discussing your chosen
Proflax formula with them before starting.

Take extra care if your pet is on blood thinners or modulators, and please note:

Proflax powders are not recommended for pregnant or nursing animals.

Can I use it with other Proflax products?

You absolutely can feed more one Proflax supplement to your pet at the same time, following a few simple guidelines.

Powder + Oil:

If you're feeding both a Proflax powder and an oil, and the herbs in each are different, you can give both on the same day – just split them between different meals and feed each at the full daily amount.

For general wellbeing, you can alternate products – give a powder one day, and an oil the next.

Oil + Oil:

Want to use two oils instead? You’ve got two options:

Feed half the daily amount of each oil on the same day – either in the same meal or split across two
Or, alternate daily – one oil one day, the second oil the next

Powder + Powder:

If you're feeding two Proflax powders, and the herbs in each are different, you can give both on the same day.

Can I feed Proflax even if my pet doesn't have a condition?

Absolutely! We advocate a preventative approach to healthcare for your pet. Feed a product according to your pet's breed, lifestyle and life stage.

This does help to firm up poos still monitoring as still need to do anals or she gets infection .but I do feel this gives me hope

So far so good she eats powder with food ok need time to see if sorts her out

I am trying this product out as My wolfhound has developed a small Perineal Hernia which does not bother him and could cause issues later on , so though I would try before we decide on the other option going under the knife

Natural and glycerine free

We really struggled to find a supplement that would help with our jachshund’s frequent anal discharges that were caused by food allergies. We tried other brands that were wheat free and they stopped the problem but not without other unpleasant side effects. It was such a relief to find “bottoms up” a grain-free natural product without the usual glycerine additive. So no more butt juicing and no more swollen eyes, itchy skin and breathing problems too. Thank you for providing a natural product without no dreaded additives!
