Feeding quantities are based on your dog's body weight, as follows:

  • 40kg + - 6 scoops +

Feeding Guidelines

For general wellbeing, feed every other day. For more targeted support, feed daily.

  1. Measure using the provided scoop (weight-based dosage guidelines on label). Feed the recommended dose daily as part of your dog’s regular routine.
  2. Sprinkle over dog's food and serve - If your dog eats dry food, add a splash of water, kefir, or goat’s milk before mixing in the powder — this helps it stick to the food so nothing gets left behind in the bowl.

Hemp Protein: A complete plant protein containing all nine essential amino acids. Naturally rich in fibre, minerals, and Omega-3 to help maintain muscle condition and energy.

Collagen (fish allergen): Provides structural protein to support connective tissue, skin, and muscle health.

Chlorella (Algae): A nutrient-dense algae rich in Omega-3, vitamin C, beta-carotene, and lutein. Supports normal immune, digestive, and skin health.

Gotu Kola: Traditionally used to support connective tissue and circulation. An adaptogenic herb that helps maintain balance and overall wellbeing.

Calendula: Traditionally used to support skin and tissue health. Contains natural antioxidants and vitamins D, E and B.

Withania (Ashwagandha): A renowned adaptogen traditionally used to support strength, vitality, and balanced energy. Helps maintain healthy adrenal function.

Suitability

Suitable for all dogs over 12 weeks of age. Not recommended for pregnant or nursing dogs. Do not use if your dog is known to be allergic or reactive to any of the listed ingredients.

If your dog is taking medication, or you have any concerns about using this product, please consult your vet for advice. Stop feeding 5 days prior to anaesthetic.

But it’s important to be cautious. Certain medications can affect things like blood pressure, the central nervous system, or internal organs – and your vet will know whether a particular supplement is suitable alongside them.

Veterinary professionals are best placed to understand any contra-indications
to the medications they prescribe, so we always advise discussing your chosen
Proflax formula with them before starting.

Take extra care if your pet is on blood thinners or modulators, and please note:

Proflax powders are not recommended for pregnant or nursing animals.

Can I use it with other Proflax products?

You absolutely can feed more one Proflax supplement to your pet at the same time, following a few simple guidelines. 

 

Powder + Oil:

If you're feeding both a Proflax powder and an oil, and the herbs in each are different, you can give both on the same day – just split them between different meals and feed each at the full daily amount.

For general wellbeing, you can alternate products – give a powder one day, and an oil the next.

Oil + Oil:

Want to use two oils instead? You’ve got two options:

  1. Feed half the daily amount of each oil on the same day – either in the same meal or split across two
  2. Or, alternate daily – one oil one day, the second oil the next

Powder + Powder:

If you're feeding two Proflax powders, and the herbs in each are different, you can give both on the same day.

Can I feed Proflax even if my pet doesn't have a condition?
