Rebecca Sargent - Proflax

Rebecca Sargent

My name is Rebecca and I am initially from an equestrian background but I have been competing in Dog Agility for 8 years now. It has become a huge part of my life – both through competing and the new friends I have made along the way!

Meet my team: Daisymay, Dolly and Luna.

Daisymay is a Beagle x Jack Russell who is a grade 6 agility dog and represented Wilmslow Dog Club at Crufts! Daisy has not been the easiest dog to train but after a successful career and aged 13, she is now retired from agility and helps to coach new members.

Dolly is my 9-year-old Border Collie who has represented Team GB at the European Championships and is the only dog to win the Novice Final and British Open Final at Crufts. We have also won the Singles Final and Reserve Championship ticket at Crufts and are still competing at the highest level.

Luna, also a border collie, is working at grade 4 level agility after overcoming her nerves in the ring! She particularly didn’t like the see-saw but we are now back to competing and hope to be moving up this summer – so watch this space!

Why I chose Proflax

I try to lead a healthy lifestyle to sustain my athleticism needed for me to compete at the top level, and this included taking a vitamin, mineral and joint supplement to keep me at my best.  I have long searched for a dog supplement to provide the same benefits and keep them at the top of their game; and now I have discovered the best in Proflax Natural. I feed my dogs raw and Proflax is a fantastic supplement to add to their dinner to aid their wellbeing. I love that Proflax has only natural ingredients, it’s easy to feed and my dogs love it! As there is a range of supplements, it’s easy to find one to best suit your dog depending on their requirements.

Dolly is a sensitive little thing and not too far from me they have been pilling for a new housing estate, and the noise of the machinery has been upsetting her a little. She’s just a bit jumpier and not as settled as she normally is (a couch potato unless I pick up her harness!). Since being on Proflax she has become more settled and not as agitated although the pilling is still going on. I really do feel this is an overall well-being supplement to support the natural systems already in place.

Luna is short for lunatic and during a recent training day she was absolutely in her element and showed prolonged focus and attention to the task in hand and not just her toy in my hand! Luna has always been extremely toy focused and although this is a positive attribute, getting her to focus on agility and not on her toy has been the driving force to my training plan. I have however seen a marked improvement in this since being on the Proflax supplement.

Since starting Proflax, Dasiymay’s skin and coat has vastly improved and it is now glossy and healthy, plus she is looking more agile and comfortable in herself. I am absolutely delighted with the results from Proflax so far, and cannot wait to see what this year's competition season brings!
