Feeding Guidelines
Shake the bottle well, then measure using the provided pipette or cup.
Feed 1ml of oil per 2kg of your dog’s weight – so a 20kg dog, for example, would need 10ml.
Pour over their food, give it a quick mix, and serve.
For general wellbeing, feed every other day, or for more targeted support, feed daily.

The herbal blend consists of:
Nettle: A rich source of natural phytonutrients including chlorophyll, sterols, polyphenols, lignans, and gallic acid. Contains the flavonoid quercetin, known for supporting normal skin condition and overall vitality. Naturally rich in minerals such as iron, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, plus vitamins A, C, K, and B.
Sarsaparilla: Traditionally used to help maintain healthy skin and immune function. Contains natural antioxidants, phytochemicals, and saponins, as well as trace minerals including iron, magnesium, selenium, calcium, and zinc, and vitamins A, C, D, and B complex.
Chamomile: Known for its soothing and calming properties and natural antioxidant content. Contains flavonoids such as apigenin, quercetin, and luteolin, which help support overall wellbeing. Traditionally used to help maintain normal digestion and skin comfort.
Skullcap: A balancing herb traditionally used to support relaxation and general wellbeing. Provides natural nutrients that help maintain skin condition and normal liver function.
Milk Thistle: Naturally rich in antioxidants and supportive of general metabolic health. Traditionally used to help maintain liver and kidney function and overall vitality. Provides calcium, magnesium, potassium, folate, and vitamin A.
Ginkgo: A natural source of flavonoids and antioxidants. Traditionally used to support circulation and general energy levels. Provides vitamins A, C, B6, iron, and magnesium.
Liquorice Root: A naturally sweet-tasting herb traditionally used to support immune function and digestive comfort. Adds palatability to the blend while providing natural plant nutrients.
Contains glycerides and ethanol.

How do I choose the right bottle size?
Based on your dog’s size, we would recommend:
Toy breeds (up to 5kg)
- 100ml will last 40 days for a 5kg dog (2.5ml per day). 26p a day.
Small breeds (6-15kg)
- 250ml will last 33 days for a 15kg dog (7.5ml per day). 56p a day.
- 500ml will last 66 days for a 15kg dog (7.5ml per day). 45p a day.
Medium breeds (16-25kg)
- 500ml will last 40 days for a 25kg dog (12.5ml per day). 75p a day.
- 1L will last 80 days for a 25kg dog (12.5ml per day). 58p a day.
Large breeds (26-40kg)
- 500ml will last 25 days for a 40kg dog (20ml per day). 1.20 a day.
- 1L will last 50 days for a 40kg dog (20ml per day). 94p a day.
Giant Breeds (41kg +)
- 1L will last 40 days for a 50kg dog (25ml per day). 1.17 a day.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark place and keep sealed between uses. Store out of reach of children.
I found these products when I read about someone mentioning them regarding another dachshund like mine.

One of my girls has itchy scaby skin put her in this and after a few weeks her coat is slowly looking better, so will definitely continue and have set up a subscription for her.
Initially I saw an improvement in Rupert's skin after starting on this so I've repeat purchased. The dosage is large as he's 50kg so a 500ml bottle doesn't go very far and it is expensive. Also the bottle seems to leak the product whatever I do to prevent it. I store in the fridge after opening and clean the lid and dosing cup after each use but I still find rings of oil on every surface I set the bottles on. Is it just me? I've re-ordered but I'm beginning to wonder if there is another way to soothe his allergies.
IIs working wonders on my blue staff’s coat. The results after 2 months
Having not being able to pin point the cause of a mild allergy my houndie has developed I thought I'd try Proflax Skin and Coat oil. I trust Proflax after using one of their other products, with great results, for years.
After just five days of using their Skin and Coat oil there was an obvious and remarkable improvement with, now, hardly any itching and no dandruff.

Having a white dog brings issues with skin and coat. Red patches on her groin have faded within a week of using Proflax skin and coat.

My dog suffers with very severe itching, its not a food allergy. The scratching and biting leads to hot spots, she needs to wear a cone for some time every day when the itching gets bad. It's very depressing for all of us. We are pretty desperate and have tried every supplement, shampoo, cream you can imagine and spent a fortune at the vets including cytopoint injections - to no avail.
I can’t rate this product yet. We have finished the first bottle and will try one more. Sorry to say it is not any better yet, but I remain optimistic.
